About me

Then

I am in PR so my day is spent predominantly at a desk. I am surrounded by foodies and I myself love to cook and bake. I am obsessed with food and dream of being a 'cook'.I am capable of healthy cooking, in fact most things I make are nutritious and delicious. It is what comes in an easy to open packet that is my main issue.I don't even have to be hungry. Put the thought of a bourbon cream or a jaffa cake in my mind and I have to have one! I have even been known to drive to a 24 hour supermarket at 11pm to satisfy the urges. I am out of control and I need help.

Now

I am still in PR sitting in front of a desk all day but my outlook on food has changed. I am now qualified in nutrition advisory in an attempt to understand food and eating habits better.

I still love my biscuits but I snack in moderation and ensure most foods we eat are highly nutritious.

My blog is taking a bit of a turn, going from documenting all the struggles and blips (of which still occur) to advising and demonstrating what I am continually learning about food and fitness.

I have a diploma in Nutrition and Weight Management. The diploma and further five certificates gained are recognised by City and Guilds and are AfN certified courses.

If you would like some advice or workshops on nutrition please contact me on the form at the footer of the blog.

Qualifications

Further to my diploma in Nutrition and Weight Management, I have certificates in, Nutrition in Sports and Exercise, Applying the principals of Nutrition to a Sports Exercise Programme, Pre and Post Natal Nutrition, Childhood Nutrition and Obesity Prevention and finally, Behaviour Change Coaching.
